For more details on creating your own KomentoScripts, please see KomentoScript (for script-makers).
KomentoScript is in early-phase undergoing testing & can be subject to change. Documentation will be more limited during initial development & testing periods.
KomentoScript is a more advanced format built on-top of what powers custom websites that tells Hayami what website, what pages on those sites to support, how to extract anime/episode info, and where to mount Hayami itself. KomentoScript allows you to sync from community instances (sources), allowing you to choose sites you personally want, pre-configured by the community out-the-box. KomentoScript instances can be hosted by anyone.

How to add KomentoScript instances

KomentoScript instances are community-managed and not affliated with Hayami directly.
KomentoScript sources sync automatically on a weekly basis. If you want to add your own sources, you can do so at your own accord by going to Settings > KomentoScript > “New source” and adding the URL of your KomentoScript location.

To see all the sites the KomentoScript source has to offer, add /all to the end to see all those sites on the Hayami extension (see the community instance URL below as an example). Hayami also accepts manually importing KomentoScript files instead of via a URL to allow community sharing similar to custom websites. Some community managed instances: Under Settings > KomentoScript, you can manually sync by clicking ‘Sync now’ if there was a recent update you want fetched.
